Dr Garcia made a transition to primary care/Family Medicine in 2021 working with South Coast Family medicine before joining ASAS Health/Future Focus Family Medicine in 2022. Dr. Garcia brings a wealth of medical experience to our growing medical team and enjoys serving the primary care needs in the Corpus Christi area.
Dr. Garcia will be taking care of established patients, but as a former ER doctor, he is always ready to see new patients. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their three sons, Elias, Gideon, and Isaac.

Lisa Kennedy, FNP
Lisa Kennedy is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is a new provider to the Calallen area. With an emphasis on preventative medicine, she believes in delivering compassionate, holistic care and encourages patients to be proactive in their healthcare journey. She is dedicated to helping people live healthier lives through education and disease prevention. Working in patient care since 2008, she completed her Masters of Science at Chamberlain University in Addison, IL, and has trained in Internal Medicine and Primary Care, managing both chronic and acute illnesses.

Cheyenne Mengers, FNP
Cheyenne Mengers is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been providing care to the Calallen area since 2019. She is trained in Family Medicine through Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Growing up in a farming family and community, she has taken a special interest in how nutrition plays a vital role in disease prevention, management, and progression. Through a well-rounded approach, she encourages the patient and their families to take an active role in promoting a healthy lifestyle. She believes that education and preventative measures are the cornerstones for leading a long, healthy life

Fredrick Flores, FNP
Frederick Flores is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has lived and served in the Calallen area for the past two decades. He was an Emergency Department RN at Northwest Regional Hospital for 21 years before returning to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and earning a Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practice. He is dedicated to serving the primary care needs of patients in the Calallen and surrounding areas with an emphasis on wellness and prevention.

John Sullivan, DC
Dr. John Sullivan is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Clinical Nutritionist. He has been in practice for over 30 years. He is an associate at Future Focus Family Medicine in Calallen. He received a Dietetics degree from Texas A&I University in Kingsville and his Doctorate in Chiropractic’s from Parker College in Dallas, Texas.
He specializes in endocrine, and cardiovascular disorders. Dr. Sullivan has a special interest in working with diabetics and those seeking to eliminate disease through proper nutrition, fitness and lifestyle choices. He has helped thousands of patients regain their health and eliminate their need for medications. He is a guest lecturer and author but is most proud of his work as an educator.
John’s motto is “facts win all arguments” because even though there is lots of conflicting information ‘out there’ about nutrition, John has been able to get his diabetic patients completely off their medication!
He has had over fifteen years of experience serving as a team physician for several local high schools and has treated both professional collegiate and Olympic athletes. Dr. Sullivan is a former World Power-Lifting Champion, and six-time world record holder. He has been teaching ju-jitsu for more than 20 years.
